FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Woodard Events, LLC, Canton, GA, March 20, 2018

Woodard Events, LLC (Woodard™) is excited to announce that it will host its annual Scaling New Heights® Conference June 17-20, 2018 at the Georgia World Congress Center (GWCC) in the heart of Atlanta’s featured

tourist destinations like the 21-acre Centennial Olympic Park, the CNN Center, the College Football Hall of Fame, and the brand-new Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

“This exciting destination provides conference attendees and sponsors with a world-class venue to experience in-depth training, explore leading technology innovations, and build professional relationships – the three primary reasons attendees faithfully attend year after year,” says Joe Woodard, CEO of Woodard Events and host of Scaling New Heights.

Woodard™ has blocked hotel rooms at the adjacent Four Diamond Omni Hotel at CNN Center, a venue conveniently connected by pedestrian bridge to the convention center. Though the Omni is one of
Atlanta’s premier hotels, Woodard™ has arranged a guest room rate of only $169/night for conference attendees.

Proximity to the airport was also a strong consideration for the events company, and GWCC is a mere 15-minute commute by shared ride or taxi from Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson International Airport. Attendees can also travel from the airport to the Omni Hotel on MARTA, Atlanta’s light rail service, for a one-way fare of $2.50.

“The past two weeks have been difficult for us,” says Joe, “with the loss of our previously announced locations at both the Hyatt Regency Atlanta and the Cobb Galleria Centre. During this challenging time, we have received hundreds of phone calls, emails, and social posts from accountants, bookkeepers, and software developers expressing their support for us and the show. We are grateful for the trust so many have placed in us, and we will honor that trust by hosting the biggest and best Scaling New Heights Conference in the 10-year history of the show.”

Woodard™ is projecting an attendance of 1,600 accountants, bookkeepers, software developers, and Intuit representatives. The theme of this year’s conference is “Tame the Machines,” a focus on technologies that are strongly impacting the accounting profession like blockchain, crypto-currency, data automation, machine learning and artificial intelligence. From the main stage, featured keynote presenter Steve Forbes will discuss the impact of these technologies on small business and industry, and Daniel Susskind, author of The Future of the Professions, will address the impact of these technologies on the accounting profession.
